Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church, held a prayer service at the Lac Ste. Anne pilgimage site in Alberta on July 26. Hundreds of Indigenous peoples were in the crowd to greet him and here his words, where he spoke of respecting and valuing grandparents and the role of women in passing culture and spirituality through the generations.
