Summary

The Trickster is a dark, humorous, coming-of-age story, a mix of dysfunctional family drama and supernatural thriller.

Sienna Films and Streel Films are searching for crew—including grips, lighting techs, production people, camera, hair and make up and more. It’s for a CBC television production of The Trickster. First Nation, Métis and Inuit applicants are encouraged to apply.

Preference will be given to residents of northern Ontario, however, applicants may apply from anywhere in Canada. There is potential funding available for travel and accommodations for an out-of-province candidate.

The Trickster, adapted from the Son of a Trickster trilogy of books by award-winning author Eden Robinson and co-created by Michelle Latimer and Tony Elliott, is a dark, humorous, coming-of-age story, a mix of dysfunctional family drama and supernatural thriller.
