The Ben Calf Robe Traditional Powwow was held for the 36th year in Edmonton at the Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre on May 12.

The powwow brings together dancers and drummers for an inner city celebration of Indigenous culture.

Edmonton has one of the largest Indigenous populations, and thousands of people attend the annual event.

The powwow is named for Blackfoot Elder Chief Ben Calf Robe.
