Trading post acquired to benefit Ermineskin Nation

In Wetaskiwin on Aug. 10, Neyaskweyak Group of Companies Inc., the goal of which is to establish new business opportunities and resources for the benefit of Ermineskin Cree Nation in Alberta, held the grand opening of its latest acquisition—Bear Paw Trading Post.

The venture adds to their other business, including franchises with Taco Time and Fas Gas Plus, and ownership of Maskwacic Mall and Pemîciso Café & Bistro, just to name a few.

Attending the grand opening and ribbon cutting, were past chiefs, community leaders, traditional dancers and a drum group.
