Lori Carr has been named Saskatchewan’s new Minister of Government Relations and Minister Responsible for First Nations, Métis and Northern Affairs. She takes over from Warren Kaeding who has been named Minister Responsible for Rural and Remote Health and will oversee the seniors’ portfolio.
Premier Scott Moe made the Cabinet shuffle this morning. He says it is the last planned shuffle before the 2020 fall provincial election.
Carr was formerly Highways and Infrastructure minister. Former Rural and Remote Health minister Greg Ottenbreit becomes Minister of Highways and Infrastructure, and Minister Responsible for the Water Security Agency.
