Summary
Orutsararmiut Native Council Fisheries distributed fish to Elders, disabled and widows.
It was the first of the King salmon deliveries of the year for Bethel-area, Alaska Elders and, boy, did it make people smile.
It was a test fishery by the State’s department of Fish and Game that provided salmon to the Orutsararmiut Native Council Fisheries to distribute to Elders, disabled and widows.
As of Friday, June 7, there were 34 King salmon and 35 Sheefish delivered. The fisheries provided some photos of joy and gratitude. See more at https://www.facebook.com/ONCFisheries/
