Three-track EP now available.
If you are familiar with the music genre called shoegaze, nêhiyawak describes its music style as mocgaze in an interview with Dustin McGladrey of CFWE-FM. It may also be described as indie rock or alternative rock.
nêhiyawak hails from Edmonton and is comprised of Kris Harper, Matthew Cardinal, and Marek Tyler, three Indigenous musicians. They are set to perform at Taste of Edmonton July 26, and their debut EP is available on iTunes & Spotify! Take a listen.
