Edmonton March: Justice for Colten

{ALBUM_998726}

An Edmonton rally organized by Indigenous Climate Action was held in front of Edmonton Police Service at noon, on Feb. 10, sparked by the acquittal of Gerald Stanley in the death of Colten Boushie, a man from Red Pheasant Cree Nation in Saskatchewan.

Colten was shot and killed when they pulled onto the Stanley farm when they experienced a flat tire. On Feb. 9, an all-white jury and judge found that Stanley was not guilty of all charges. People are standing in solidarity and support of the Boushie and Baptise families.

In Edmonton they marched to the Edmonton Law Courts and back to EPS.
