The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Five Little Indians, a story about friends who met and survived residential school and their struggles with their experience over the ensuing decades, will be turned into a TV series. The book, written by Michelle Good, just won the Governor General’s Literary Award for Fiction.
Martin Katz, who has produced David Cronenberg films, is said to have taken the project on. Cree Métis writer Shannon Masters will write and showrun.
