Feb. 3: Pop-up Fashion Show in Edmonton in support of Indigenous women

Tomorrow, Feb. 3, at the Edmonton Native Healing Centre upstairs at 11813-123 St. a pop-up mini fashion show will help held at: 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

All clothing will go to support Indigenous women looking for a professional look for an interview or just for everyday work attire.

The fashion components are pre-worn finds. The show is meant to support Indigenous women in the Treaty 6 territory and is hosted by the Aboriginal Women’s Association and Iskwew Health.

All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. 

The Fashion Show will feature Luxx ready to wear and Low Income Club. The Emcee is Ger Carriere Terzi, Wild Women, featuring DJ Rebellion. Make-up Artist is Chevi Rabbit.

AWPA is a non-profit organization, charitable organization that creates opportunities for Aboriginal women to participate fully in the community with a strong foundation in culture and traditions.
