Casting is now open for Season 8 of the Great Canadian Baking Show

The Great Canadian Baking Show is conducting in-person casting in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Halifax. Attend with your best baked creations.

Vancouver: Sunday Feb 11 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Find out more about the event.

All in person auditions start at 9 am. 

Local bakers are asked to register on Eventbrite to attend. Attendees should bring one home-baked item that will show off their design, technique, and flavours. This item will be presented to The Great Canadian Baking Show team for tasting.

While online casting remains available for those who are not able to attend in person, the open call offers one more chance to impress the casting team, plus the opportunity to meet bakers from previous seasons on site. Applications close March 10, 2024.

Season 8 of The Great Canadian Baking Show will film in Toronto in Spring and early Summer of this year. It brings together 10 amateur bakers from across the country to compete in a series of themed culinary challenges that celebrate their diverse backgrounds, families and communities.
