The Tsuut'ina Powwow took place at the Redwood Meadows Pow Wow Grounds from July 26 to July 28. Photographer Bert Crowfoot was on hand and sends the following photos from grand entry and a blanket ceremony the Tsuut'ina Police did for the Dodging Horse family.
While there, he spoke to several photo journalism students from SAIT about shooting powwow and some of the things to look out for.
"I had to speak over the drums, but I had a great time sharing tips with them," he said.
