Position: Blackfoot Construction Contracting LP Manager

Subsidiary: Blackfoot Construction Contracting Limited Partnership

Term: 3-Year Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Commensurate as per approved SGC Salary Classification

 

General Statement of Duties ( not limited to the following): 

The Blackfoot Construction Contracting LP Manager is responsible for the Field Operations, Performance and Completion of self-performed and subcontracted construction work. The Manager must be prepared to accept additional related duties as changes within the organization may occur. 

•    5-I0 years construction management experience required.
•    Actively secure contractual work for the company and related pre-qualification filing and follow up
•    Ability to operate assortment of heavy equipment vehicles and critique other operators on best and safe best practices
•    Ensures that the project site is secure at all times, the equipment are in safe, working order, manages the tail gate and/ or safety meetings.
•    Always maintains a safe and respectful working environment.
•    Reviews contracts and documents to obtain a clear understanding of deliverables and ensures project completion within budget.
•    Report on progress, budget, cost reports, schedules, and forecasts to completion, on a regular basis to the General Manager.
•    Communicates with clients and sub-contractors on expectations and directions regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, quality control, and other performance standards

Qualifications Required: 


High School Diploma supplemented with 2-Year Post Secondary in Project Management and/ or Business Management and 5 to IO years construction Management experience is required. A comhin.adon ofEducation an.d experience will also he considered Note: The Successful Applicant must possess a valid driver:􀀘 license an.d submit a dean. drivers abstract.
